Saturday 2 January 2016

And so enters 2016! 2015 has been a difficult year for us, both with my health which I was struggling with throughout, and with a few other business related things for my other half, I won't share details but I will simply say it was very tough going!  So you won't be surprised to find that we are both welcoming in the New Year (well the Gregorian one!) with anticipation of better to come.

A while ago I decided that I would start a blog where I will share bits about my spirituality, my religion and just my thoughts in general, I set up the template, but didn't get round to starting it, until now!

There won't be spectacular insights, just a sharing of things that make me smile, and little bits about my spiritual practice, meditations and celebrations, as and when.

During December, I heard about the practice of having a word for the year, to guide you through, rather than having resolutions, and I decided to give it a go :o)

I found my way to Susannah Conway's website and after reading through about why she decided to use just one word for her year ahead, I signed up for her emails.  One arrived each day for five days, each with links to printable worksheets, and I worked through the process.

The word I have arrived upon is Cherish - I'm really happy with it, as I feel it will remind me to forgive myself when I have been unable to complete something, or I'm feeling down due to the Fibro.  I am also sure that it will allow me to focus more on my spiritual development, Cherishing every step.

Bright Blessings ~ I hope you have a wonderful 2016
